This was Mum’s first ever respite stay and her first solo time away from her own home, and it was a great success thanks to the very good care at Rowallan. Everyone was kind and attentive making her feel welcomed and involved. When I collected her after 10 days she was surprised to be going home and most of her clothes had been laundered beautifully ready for me to pack - thank you very much.

Rowallan House is a family-owned business founded in 1982. Part of the Rowallan Group, the home has 41 beds and caters for people over the age of 65 and those with specialist care needs, such as dementia. Our residents are like part of our family, and we’re proud to deliver high levels of care in a comfortable home with a personal touch.

Respite care

Rowallan House is a real home where you or your loved one can live a rich and fulfilling life. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with personal touches and items so they feel comfortable and at home. Visitors are welcome, and you’ll make new friends too.
